New Year thoughts

a thought - What do you look for to discern what is in your estimation, a good piece of design? I look to see what problem the designer has set for themselves and then how well they have solved the problem. Hopefully in the process one realized that the important thing is learning to ask the right question(s).

just came upon this thought as well - if you are considering doing any printing for a client, make sure you use a good printer whom you know includes a proofing process with a REAL paper proof sheet as part of the job, otherwise don’t waste your time photo-shopping any adjustments!

a final thought - definitely not! … put more emphasis on novelty not trend . … now, what are your thoughts?.
